It worked!

My tub drain was draining slowly. Though I use a hair catcher over the drain, I knew some debris and soap scum would collect over time. Instead of putting down a liquid drain clog remover, I'd try this flexible grabber claw tool out. I simply took off my overflow cap and place the claw down until it stopped at the restriction. Press the handle to expand the claw and release so the claw would close. Voila! We pulled out the source of the slow draining. I just saved $$$ from calling a plumber today! This tool will come in handy if the clog is within the overflow and ptrap connection. It is flexible enough if you have the right touch in snaking further into ptrap. This will also help me at the condos I manage.

It unlocked my Honda Odyssey

I installed a battery disconnect on my Honda Odyssey because of an uncorrected parasitic load that resulted too often in a dead battery. And the key has never worked in the door. But I always left the car unlocked when I disconnected the battery. Until last week. The door was locked. I worked for hours without success. Then I watched YouTube videos. Eventually I realized that a grabber like this might work. Wonderfully, it did. The diameter is large for my needs but in the end I got the lock pulled up and I got into the vehicle. Next time I will leave the window down an inch when I disconnect the battery.

Wish i bought it sooner

Buy it. Took me 0.5 seconds after unboxing to get a toothbrush that was clogging my bathroom sink for 2 years. Then i decided why not stick it back in , and out came this sink monster. (See photo). So satisfying. Buy it. Nuff said.

Glad I got this - slow shower drain after renovationI just had my shower tiling redone and of course the water started draining slower. I knew in my gut they had let a bunch of debris go down the drain (happened at our last house after a renovation as well). I used this tool and sure enough pulled a bunch of junk out including hardened grout. I just kept pulling stuff out until I was coming up empty but it’s shocking how much stuff was pulled up. I followed it with a boiling water flush and so far seems to be much better.
